April 9, 2024, is declared a regular holiday pursuant to Proclamation No. 368, s. 2023, in observance of Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor). This day commemorates the fall of Bataan in 1942 and honors the courage and sacrifice of Filipinos who fought for the country’s freedom.
Moreover, under Proclamation No. 514, s. 2024, April 10 is also declared as a regular holiday in observance of Eid'l Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan), a significant Islamic holiday that signifies the end of Ramadhan.
